- Transportation to dark sky site
Good to Know
- We are given access to dark sky sites on Sedona's forest lands under a USFS permit. Which sites we may access varies seasonally. After your booking is confirmed, we will send you full meetup directions.
- Participants are responsible for their transportation to and from the dark sky site, and must either have access to a vehicle or secure a tax / ride-share service.
- Stargazing requires clear conditions. The tour may be cancelled due to cloudy weather, or in the case of dangerous weather conditions like storms, flood warnings, or dangerously high winds.
- As the tour takes place outdoors at night, we do not recommend this experience for people with limited mobility or difficulty negotiating uneven terrain at night.
- If you plan to use a taxi or ride share service, we highly recommend that you reserve a driver for after tour pickup ahead of time. Experience has taught us that you may have difficulty finding a ride share driver late at night.
Meeting Point
Per the stipulations of our USFS permit, which dark sky site we can access varies seasonally. We will send specific meetup directions upon tour confirmation. All sites are within a half hour drive of Uptown Sedona.
